Intelligent Building Automation & Control

Centralised HVAC, lighting, access and energy management in a single intelligent control layer that cuts operating cost while improving comfort and compliance.

Buildings waste energy invisibly. Chillers run against open windows, lighting burns in empty zones, and the sub-meter that would prove it was never installed. The cost lands in the operating budget as a single number nobody can decompose.

CPS unifies HVAC, lighting, access control and energy management into one control layer built on PLC/DCS architectures. Occupancy drives climate and lighting zones automatically. Dynamic free-cooling strategies exploit ambient conditions instead of running mechanical cooling by default, which is where a large share of the savings usually sits.

Legacy systems do not need ripping out. IoT gateway integration bridges existing BMS installations into modern dashboards, so you get visibility and control without writing off working plant. Sub-metering per floor, tenant or department then makes consumption accountable to the people who cause it.

Key Outcomes

Who This Is For

Commercial landlords, office parks, retail centres, hospitals, data centres, campuses, and any multi-tenant building where energy is recovered from occupants.

Common Questions

Questions we get
about this service.

Do we have to replace our existing BMS?

No. IoT gateway integration brings legacy building management systems into modern dashboards, so existing plant and controllers keep operating while you gain centralised visibility, alarm management and trend analysis. Full replacement is an option, not a prerequisite.

What is free-cooling and why does it matter here?

Free-cooling uses favourable ambient conditions to cool a building instead of running mechanical refrigeration. In much of South Africa the shoulder seasons and night hours offer long windows where this is viable, and automating the switchover removes the dependence on an operator noticing.

Can we bill tenants for their actual energy use?

Yes. Sub-metering per floor, tenant or department produces an auditable consumption record per party, which supports accurate recovery and gives tenants a reason to care about their own usage.
