Security & Asset Protection
Physical hardening, smart access control and real-time tracking layered into one protection system, extending into Correctional Services electronic monitoring.
Theft and vandalism destroy infrastructure ROI faster than any technical failure. A substation stripped of copper, a meter cabinet forced open, a site container emptied over a long weekend — each one converts a capital asset into an insurance claim and a delivery delay.
CPS treats protection as a layer, not a product. MagSense smart locks with TPM chips give cryptographically verified access with a full audit trail of who opened what and when. High-security cabinets and enclosures rated IP67/IP68 survive the dust, water and deliberate force that field equipment actually meets. Multi-sensor vandalism detection units route alerts in real time rather than recording an incident for later review.
The same infrastructure tracks what you own and who is on site. UWB and BLE tags give real-time asset and worker visibility, and the whole picture feeds SOC dashboards alongside cyber events, so physical and digital threats are seen in one place. This capability extends into Correctional Services electronic monitoring, supporting public safety and rehabilitation programmes.

Questions we get
about this service.
What does a TPM chip add to a smart lock?
A Trusted Platform Module stores cryptographic keys in tamper-resistant hardware, so access credentials cannot simply be cloned or extracted from the lock. Combined with a full audit trail it turns access from an assumption into evidence of who opened which asset and when.
What do IP67 and IP68 ratings actually mean for field equipment?
IP67 means the enclosure is dust-tight and withstands temporary immersion; IP68 extends that to continuous immersion under specified conditions. For distributed African infrastructure the practical value is surviving dust ingress, storm water and wash-down without the enclosure becoming the weak point.
Can physical security alerts be seen alongside cyber alerts?
Yes. Vandalism detection, access events and asset tracking feed the same SOC dashboards used for cyber monitoring, which is what allows a physical intrusion and an anomalous network event at the same site to be correlated rather than handled by two separate teams.
